Sarah Long
LCSW, IECMH-E, CNP
Sarah Long has spent her career serving families and making child-serving systems better. Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Work, Certified Nonprofit Professional, and is endorsed in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.
Sarah graduated from Brown University in 2006 with a BA in Human Development and the University of Tennessee’s College of Social Work in 2008 with an MS in Social Work. She practiced as a therapist, working with children and adults, before transitioning into leadership roles in a community mental health setting. Working for the Helen Ross McNabb Center, Sarah was the Assistant Director of Family Treatment Services. Sarah specialized in developing two-generational approaches, infant and early childhood mental health, and trauma-sensitive care. Sarah then served as the Chief Innovation Officer at the Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee, ensuring nonprofit operations supported systems change in early childhood programming across Tennessee.
Sarah now runs her own nonprofit consulting business, Sarah Long, LCSW LLC. She guides nonprofits and supports people by providing leadership, program management, and therapy services. She is honored to serve as the Executive Director for the Iowa Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and to serve on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Nonprofit Network.
